It may take folks shaking us up, shaking it up to get there. >> Well, I think she kinda rocks. She's a mom, and she does a lot of stuff like she gets out there like I do, work for your party and just keep on, like, putting ahead what you know your beliefs are and keep on talking to those other people that wanna hear them. >> I thought it was very interesting when she talked about we don't need to fundamentally change America. We need to just revive it and enhancing it back to our roots. >> I don't know who organized this, the effort that is needed to put obsessive partisanship aside when it gets in the way of just doing what's right for the American people and those internal power struggles that need to be set aside for the good of the order. But if I were king, more like it if I were a coach, and if I were a coach writing a playbook, I'd say, look, everyone has constructive roles in this. The needs are great heading into these midterm elections because the cause is so great, the cause, the great awakening of America, and the needs, truth in America. >> But I thought she struck a good balance. Obviously, she handled herself I think brilliantly. >> And by the way, I am the biggest proponent of freedom of the press in this country, our young men and women in uniform willing to fight and die for our constitutional rights including that right to a free press. It's why I am hot on this lame stream media issue. It's why I'm adamant that they tell the truth. How dare anyone disrespect our troops' sacrifice by claiming the right to print and to say anything without a corresponding responsibility to truth? >> I like the idea how she said that the troops are really fighting for our freedoms and the essential freedoms that we add that are guaranteed by the constitution. This is so critical. People don't, I think, realize what people are fighting and dying for and have fought and died for, you know, in all the history of the United States. >> She's very likeable. She's a great public speaker. She's interesting and people can relate to her. >> I remember for me, just a young girl, the four words that he spoke. As I share that grave concern with our country and for our country the world's safety, wondering, how are we gonna be safe? That curiosity is to how, how can we and our allies be secure against an evil world? Reagan said it and solidified his commitment. He said, " We win. They lose ." >> I think she just hit the ball out of the ballpark. >> I think the foreign policy things were very good where she was, you know, talking about not apologizing, you know, for being Americans and being-- working with our allies and standing up to our adversaries as opposed to current policies of, you know, trying to apologize for being a great country basically. >> I said when I was listening, to my husband, " Wow, she just said what I would've said ," but she says it very eloquently and really, really appreciate what she's trying to do. It brings people back to the traditional values that this country really stands for, and there are some people that want us to forget about that. >> I thought she did really well. She did a good job of articulating her differences with Obama. She obviously probably looks at running in 2012. >> I just last week been caribou hunting up in near ANWR where it was about 16 degrees. I wanna to go fly out. I wanna get outside and see Iowa and Todd says, " I don't know. I think you should go downstairs, run on that treadmill ," and I said, " Why would I wanna stay indoors ?" Todd says, " It's 'cause I guarantee you, if anybody spots you in the tennis shoes, the headline's gonna be Vanity Fair.
