## Transcript

Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul and the host of this year's Prime Time Emmy awards, Neal Patrick Harris announce the nominees in the top 12 categories Thursday morning, from Hollywood. It's fun to be hosting the TV show that announces nominees for TV show awards, for a TV award show on TV. The nominees for Outstanding Drama Series are Breaking Bad, Downtown Abbey, Game of Thrones, Homeland, House of Cards, and Mad Men. Mad Men has been nominated for 97 Emmy awards since 2008. And for those prime time shows that make us laugh, 30 Rock picks up its 103rd Emmy nomination. The nominations in the Comedy Series category are 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, Girls, Louie, Modern Family and Veep.

For the reality shows, The Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars and And so You Think You Can Dance all picked up nods for best program and best host. The nominees for variety series are, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show with John Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Real Time With Bill Mahr and Saturday Night Live. That marks SNL's 171st Emmy nomination. Show alum Tina Fey picked up her 29th Emmy nod for her role in 30 Rock. Actor Louis C. K. is in the running for the 23rd time, this time for his role in Louie. And Hollywoods beloved Betty White received her 19th Emmy nomination.

She is nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality- Competition. I'm Elizabeth Corridan reporting.
