## Transcript

Not a single one of my friends or family is remotely interested in technology, yet every single one of them is asking me this week, what's going on with the stolen iPhone? Even my friend who sells ball bearings was asking what's going on. And when you'd manage to catch the year of the ball bearings industry, you know you're on to something, it's all ball bearings nowadays. So, here's the basic story in under two minutes. March 18, 2010, Apple Software engineer Ray Powell leaves his next generation iPhone prototype on a bar stool. And on the strangest thing next upon is he notices that he has left his phone behind and that is gone.

So, this stranger brings up the Facebook app on the phone and he finds Ray Powell's profile. This guy takes the phone thinking he'll return the phone to Powell the next day. Well, he wakes up the next morning and finds that the phone has been remotely disabled by Apple. He calls Apple Support hotline and e- mails Apple Support trying to find the owner of this phone which is now been ripped [ unk ] have no idea what he's talking about. Now weeks later, Gizmodo which is owned by Gawker Media pays this kid $ 5, 000 for this device. April 19th, 2010, this Monday Gizmodo publishes a ghost call, this gives Apple's next iPhone which details a more rectangular design, front facing video camera, rear facing camera with larger lens and a flash and a 16 percent larger battery.

Now, the screen appears to be slightly smaller than current screens though the resolution appears to be much higher. So, the internet in general goes eight and my friends and family members who care nothing about technology are asking me what happened to whichever apply, don't bother me, I'm thinking. About 10 minutes to midnight the same day Gizmodo posts a letter received from Apple saying, " This letter constitutes a formal request that you return the device to Apple ." Now, Gizmodo agrees to return the phone. The bigger picture here that was, that Apple asking for the phone that approves that is indeed the real deal.

While Apple has an event coming up in June which is why they believe they will announce the new iPhone but looks like it may have already been announced prematurely which does not happen if you're [ unk ]. So, if you're thinking about getting into technology blogging, that's pretty much the pinnacle right there. Everything else is all down hereafter. All down hell.
