[ MUSIC ] My first memory from the Olympics is watching the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer and watching Tommy Moe win the gold medal there. That was right when I was starting to ski race, and so that was a huge inspiration wish upon. Great just come up a tiny bit. I got my back edge when I was a little kid as a speed racer I was far away not even close to being one of the best kids on my local ski club. But I think if you had pulled like 10 of my coaches from when I was a kid, all 10 of them would have said there's no chance he would've winning gold cups, and olympic gold medals. [ MUSIC ] Right now I'm excited about having my first year in a couple of years being healthy.

Two years ago I blew out my knee, and last year I had some back issues and ended up cutting the season short to get microdiscectomy surgery on my back, so. I'm feeling healthy now, and I feel great. Lay on to the next race, I guess. [ MUSIC ]
