Talks Climate Change --- ## Transcript >> It is a question of justice. >> This morning, the African group has been meeting, and the-- of course, I can say that Africa is growing stronger and stronger and they have a common position. But this position, of course, keeps evolving like any other region. This morning, they have been discussing where we are and what we do, especially given that yesterday the Kyoto Protocol was being sidelined, and this is a concern for Africa. So, today we are deliberating more on how we can take forward these discussions with the other regions. We are in a-- we are caucusing. We are-- we are meeting. We are interfacing. We are also consulting with the continents. We are doing quite a lot. We are not sleeping. Then we are in fact responsible for G77, by the way. Africa has got the biggest representation on the different committees on climate change. So, we are a force to reckon with, and if we don't get our share, we shall withdraw. Denmark is a small country. And the challenge of preparing COP 15 has-- is insurmountable. I think the delegation has not been well treated. They lined for more than 3 hours. The hotels are very, very expensive. I've never seen the more the-- such an expensive place like this. Do you hire a car, it's thousand dollars per day. This has-- this has-- it's incredible. It has never happened. So, the delegations are actually not happy with the whole arrangement. But I think it's what we get out of here is the most important. Tomorrow will depend on today. >> How many times have us the same [ unk ] 2, 3, and 4 times. We need transparency for developed countries developing countries, and developing economies. >> So today, the prime minister put forward the agenda for Africa. So, it's under negotiation. >> We shouldn't lose hope. We have to continue. We have to ensure that we continue engaging. Unless you are there, then it-- you'll be left behind. You have to be there. You have to be in it in order to make a change. To make a difference, you have to be in. >> Oh, my-- yeah, you have to meet a lot of politician and to also-- at the moment I don't want to open up. >> Okay. For your own sakes, reach people. Please, for your own sakes, for your children's sakes. >> For the sake of our world, be nice.
