## Transcript

It's been rumored for a while now, but it's finally been confirmed, Christian Bale will play Steve Jobs in the upcoming bio picture from writer Aaron Sorkin. We needed the best actor, on the board, in a certain age range and, and that's, Chris Bale. Everyone from Leonardo Di Caprio to Matt Damon to Ben Affleck had been rumored to play the part, according to The Verge, but it was Bale who finally locked it down. And Sorkin revealed to Bloomberg in an exclusive interview that Bale didn't even have to audition for the part. Even though Bales may have had the part handed to him, it doesn't mean his work won't be cut out for him on set.

Sorkin told Bloomberg: He has more words to say in this movie than most people have in three movies combined. There isn't a scene or a frame that he's not in. So it's an extremely difficult part and he's gonna crush it. A dialogue- heavy Sorkin movie is no surprise. He's made his name on loaded, fast- paced writing on shows like The West Wing and landed an Oscar for his screenplay in The Social Network. Walter Isaacson's biography on the Apple founder is Sorkin's source material for his upcoming biopic, which will reportedly consist of three long scenes, each set backstage on one of Job's. Famous product launches.

Danny Boyle, who won an OScar for Slumdog Millionaire is said to direct the film. Though there's still no word on when we will finally get to see how well Christian Bale can pull off a black turtleneck.
