## Transcript

>> With her car as she set away from the parking lot.

>> Here are our Top Five Viral Videos of December. 'Tis the season to be jolly if you can survive the frustration of shopping and traveling that is. Canadian airline WestJet took the opportunity to put the ho ho ho back in the holidays. What if Santa got you exactly what you wanted? These fires told them what was on their Christmas lists, but it didn't fall on that year. Little did they know, WestJet elves were working quickly to ensure their gifts will be waiting for them when they landed. You'll certainly believe in Santa after this stunt. It's even easier to spend money on a good deed when it's someone else's money.

Filmmaker Casey Neistat was paid $ 25, 000 to cut an ad for a Hollywood film. Instead of making a conventional commercial, he took the money and ran to the Philippines, which is just bailing out from the devastating typhoon. There, Neistat filled two buses with food, the equivalent of 10, 000 meals and trucked it to the hardest areas. The supplies were quickly exhausted but the feel good vibes were enough to spark a feeling of success, and he still managed to promote the film anyway. Also from the Philippines this month was another empowering video, an ad for Pantene hair products. The minute long commercial takes on gender stereotypes around the world, highlighting how women are viewed differently than men even when doing the same roles.

It aired only twice on television in the Philippines but was seen exponentially more around the world. Big bold letters brought big bold recognition to this ad even from Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg. But it wasn't all serious videos this month. Remember Rebecca Black and her awesomely bad hit Friday? Well, she's back. Almost 3 years later with a follow up. Any guesses what she called it? Saturday. This one starts after particularly rough Friday night party and her cleanup involves heading straight to the beach. Of course there are throwbacks of her first hit. Remember that bowl of cereal? She even sings about trying to get Friday out of her head.

Giving her success so far, she might not want.

>> It's a sure sign that the artist--

>> One character we couldn't get out of our heads or faces this month, Ron Burgundy, the star of Anchorman played by Will Ferrell. He was everywhere from talk shows to sporting events, all in his signature burgundy suit.

>> I'm doing great.

>> Yes.

>> Last time I saw you, you were a lot heavier. I feel like you lost like 50 pounds.

>> Yes, I've lost just a little.

>> Well then, good for you.

>> Thanks--

>> But his biggest victory was when he took the actual anchor chair at a North Dakota News station. As the Anchor of the Weekend News Cast, Burgundy got to deliver the news in his typical over the top style. Even while describing a fire in a local Wal- Mart parking lot.

>> It appears it was a busy day for responders. Firefighters also were called to a Sam's Club in this market.

>> Shockingly, his co- anchor managed to keep from cracking up. You stay classy, North Dakota. For TIME, I'm Nick Carbone.
