## Transcript

This one right here? Going to hear Brother Martin King speak when I was ten years old. I didn't understand every word but one thing I knew. This brother was for real when he talked about love and he knew justice was what love looks like in public. Skin color may differ but affection dwells in black and white the same. And I felt that at ten years old. So I couldn't understand the analysis in the way that I would've liked. But I just knew here was somebody who had integrity, and honesty, and decency, and most importantly would never sell out. He was critical of America, Vietnam, his critic of. The oligarchs of his day, vis a vis poverty, trying to organize poor people of all colors but he was doing it in the name of love, he was doing it in the name of truth.

So, in that sense he's always maladjusted to injustice. He's not perfect now, because all of us as human beings, we're all cracked vessels. But he would never sell his soul for a mess of pie. [ MUSIC ]
