## Transcript

For your late night highlight, Regis Philbin was on Late Night and told Seth Meyers about how he started out as a page at NBC. Page is an entry level job and Philbin had a weird story to share about the old days. I was there behind the desk, [ INAUDIBLE ] very quiet. And all of a sudden the door opened. And out came chimp riding a bicycle. And just before it hits the door, the chimp jumps off the bike, and the bike smashes into the door. [ LAUGH ] The chimp smashed into a door that [ UNKNOWN ] wasn't suppose to let anybody go into and he said he got into big trouble. Now this was a long time ago, before Saturday Night Live was even created, but Philbin thinks the chimp belonged to the first Today Show host, Dave Garroway, and that it was his famous chimp, Fred Muggs.

But Regis thinks the story is pretty funny now. We're just wondering if he can handle things like the new Planet of the Apes movie. Thanks for watching, I'm Lauren Zima
