## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] We asked people on the streets of New York, who's your money hero? Here's what they told us. My mom. She donates her money, she gives her money away, and stuff like that, so she likes to help children out. His parents were very good with money, very frugal and, like, they had the same 40- year- old carpet in their house forever. Scott is a financial adviser back home where we're from. Scott's helped us out a lot ever since we've been working, now we're retired. And best thing in Macon so we can come and do this kinda stuff. Come to New York. I'd say it was my great- uncle. He made a lot of money in his life and, but he set aside some money for each of his grand nieces and nephews for college.

So that's actually really helped my sister and I go through college. I guess I'd say my money here would be my dad. Because he does give generously to various charities and he's really involved in the church, and he also gives his time as well. It would be my grandmother, she helped my grandfather get through dental school. And they paid off their house early, early on. And they've been debt free for about 25 years, and have always been able to help everyone around them. Bill Gates part of educations. I'm in education. Bono. Warren Buffet. [ MUSIC ] I guess I would probably nominate Warren Buffet.

Gives just tons of money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and I admire that a great deal cuz there's a lot of people who have that kind of money who just have no interest really in the kinds of things that he does, so- People are just so much focused on money, I mean, that's not a big part of our life, so, no, not really.
