## Transcript

I think makeup and hair and clothes and everything can kind of turn you into a character, and that's what I love about it. I love to see how people put my products together and how they mix products with certain things, and I never would have thought of that. And they've given me ideas to create products as well. So I like to see, you know, what it can do. I did a song and the song was called Rare. And I ended up naming my album that. I ended up tattooing that on me. And it's because the song meant a lot to me during a time in my life where it was saying, I don't have everything. I'm not perfect, but I know that I deserve to be treated special.

And that was the overall message, so I thought it would be really fun to name it rare beauty. A beginning, when I first created rare beauty, I wasn't sure if I was going to be excited about doing something unless it incorporated giving back in some way. So before the makeup products even happened, I wanted the brand to be some sort of resource for people as well, because I feel like if I'm here, I might as well do as much good as I can. I think for me inclusivity was always from the gecko, what we wanted because I mean, even the first campaign we shot. I didn't want necessarily models. I wanted what everyone and what we look like when we wake up and not have all this stuff like I wanted it to be real women that would use it and share their own story along with it.

So we ended up giving names to these faces, and they created this whole idea of this isn't just for someone of a specific type, it's for everyone. It's for anyone who wants to try to you play with makeup or go to the community for any sort of mental health resources. What do you think that Ra and Fenty or you and Rianna have in common. First off, I'm so honored that I can even be in presence of Rianna. So I think it's really it's honestly about putting what we believe behind it. Obviously, I can't speak for her, but everything seems so true to who she is, and I think that's very iconic and great.

I'd like to say it's we both put our heart into it, so. But I'm very honored. That's very flattered. I. We are live on TikTok streaming the rare Beauty mental health seven to now. My goal would be to build such a strong community, the rare impact fund that is with rare beauty. That I would actually hope that we could make and continue to make change. As far as the products go, I think the possibilities are endless. And I'm not shying away from anything. I think I'm just taking my time because I don't know if I'd want to, like, push every idea out right away. I sit with my products. I have testing, you know, and I just sit there and use it all the time and I'll just kind of live with it for a bit.

So we'll see, hopefully, it'll keep doing good thing.
