## Transcript

I don't wear a lot of makeup in real life, as opposed to today which is professionally applied. [ LAUGH ] And so for me, I prefer it. It also means less time in the hair and makeup chair in the morning which means I get to sleep more. Usually as an actor, you come And then they are putting things under your eyes, and there is ice cubes, and they're trying to like somehow get rid of the situation that's happening under here five in the morning. But they wanted you to look sort of tired and baggy. The worse the better. Wes Miller who's the show runner, and chief writer, he said he felt that it allowed.

The acting to be more direct. And because every little twitch and twinge was visible. It was anything between you and the camera. Absolutely, and same with [ INAUDIBLE ] Or if I flushed or if it was hot, you could really see that there was nothing ever covering it. For me, anything that- Got in the way. Got in the way was new. The more messed up I can look, the more happy I am. [ LAUGH ]
