## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Tuesday, June 10th. I'm Mark Halperin in Gotham City with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, the continued fight between McCain and Obama on the economy, both, doing it again today. Watch to see who gets the best coverage on the national cable channels, on the broadcast networks, but also watch the local coverage as best you can on the interweb to see who is winning that battle in the battleground states. Second, watch the Democrats attempt to have a unity message of 1992. Democrats' control of the Congress were very effective in teeing things up for their presidential nominee Bill Clinton through legislative debate and getting bills to the president's desk.

Watch to see the Democrats today. There's a big press conference and their effort's beginning to try to frame things up, to help Barack Obama beat John McCain. And then finally, the debate about debates, the debate about town meetings, the Obama campaign is masterful, they've shown it in the past that's saying they're for something, but then slow walking to make sure that things don't happen ahead of the time table they would like. Watch to see again if the McCain can do anything to get these town meetings going, so far, the Obama campaign, very effective at keeping them not going. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today.

You can get all the political news all the time right here on The Page. For now in New York City, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
