## Transcript

Reaction to Indiana's so called Religious Freedom Law has been swift and so far some of the strongest opposition has come from the business world. One of the most prominent figures among the opposition is Marc Benioff. The CEO of cloud computing company Salesforce. In a tweet Thursday, Benioff announced his company would be boycotting Indiana, writing today we are canceling all programs that require our customers and employees to travel to Indiana to face discrimination. Benioff is part of a larger group of business owners opposed to the bill. Last week, he joined executives from. Six other Indiana tech companies in sending a letter to Indiana governor Mike Pence.

The group wrote in part we not only disagree with this legislation on a personal level but the rfra will adversely impact our ability to recruit and retain the best and the brightest talent in the technology sector. Other business leaders to come out against the controversial law include Pay Pal cofounder and Yelp investor Max Levchin, who called the law pretty unbelievable. Similarly, gaming convention Gen Con, which drew more than 50, 000 people to its 2014 conference in Indianapolis, has threatened to leave the state after its contract with the city expires in 2020. Governor Pent signed the Religion Freedom Restoration act into law Thursday morning .

>> This bill is not about discrimination. And if I thought it was about discrimination I would've vetoed it .

>> Proponents say it protects the religious from government intrusion while those opposed say it allows for discrim. Discrimination against same- sex couples. Notably, the NCAA has taken notice of the legislation. With the men's basketball Final Four set to take place in Indianapolis this year, the NCAA has said it is concerned about the law.
