## Transcript

Severe fire weather conditions will continue through Wednesday. Please be assured that all fire departments and all law enforcement agencies in the area will be prepared. The anticipated winds combined with low humidities and low fuel moistures will keep the fire threat in all of Los Angeles County critical. We're absolutely better prepared. For this coming PDS, the severe fire weather event. As we've mentioned, the National Weather Service is predicting close to hurricane force level winds, and so we're making urgent preparations. Evacuations, we have approximately, and this is some good news because it's dropped.

We have over 92,000 people who are under evacuation orders and approximately 89,000 people who are under evacuation warnings. For the Al tadina area, we are in the third day of grid searching. It is a very grim task, and we, unfortunately, every day we're doing this, we're running across the remains of individual community members. People are saying, I just want to go look at my house and I want to see what's left. We know that. But we have people literally looking for the remains of your neighbors. Please be patient with us.
