I personally think the biggest challenge in America today is like don't listen to each other. So we need to listen to each other, we need to talk each other. [ MUSIC ] I think they're really losing the connection To one another and I think that is the problem. Because if I'm willing to lean into your vantage point, at least we can meet somewhere in the middle. I find it really heartening that we are at a time period And where people are actively saying that they are resisting, and are actively choosing to live out the ideals of social justice. I think that that's really, really important on a personal level.

What gives me hope is when I work with the children, and when I see the children learning culture. That made me proud to see that. See that. I think what gives me hope is seeing the kinds of connections that people make. When I see people taking chances and connecting with other people, that really gives me hope that on these small levels, we're making change.
