## Transcript

For your late night highlight on the late show Tuesday night, David Letterman addressed fellow CBSer Craig Ferguson's announcement, that he'd be leaving the network. His show was unlike any other late night show and I'm telling you to to be unique in the world of television virtually impossible. Right. So congratulations to Craig, on a great run. [ NOISE ] This is definitely a time of major change for the world of late- night. Ferguson's announcement came less than 2 weeks after CBS announced Stephen Colbert would replace the retiring Letterman. Of course, Ferguson isn't retiring as Entertainment Weekly notes his contract with CBS is up in 2015.

And some have speculated Ferguson was offended that CBS didn't give him the late show. But, Letterman wished Ferguson well with whatever his next venture may be. Ferguson has several projects in the works with his production company. Thanks for watching, I'm [ UNKNOWN ] Judy
