[ MUSIC ] This is Brookline, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, just a short drive from Fenway Park. It's a great place to be single, rich, and well educated. More than half the people living in Brookline have a masters or professional degree While only 10 % of the rest of America has attained that same level of education. That education means great jobs, 77 %, more than twice the national average work in management, science, or creative fields. Not only is Brookline incredibly well educated, it's wealthy too. One in five households earns more than $ 200, 000 a year. Now compare that to the national average.

Less than 5 % of households in the U. S. earn that much. 42 % of the people in Brookline are single and when you put all these things together, it makes Brookline number one on Money's best places to be rich and single
