## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Monday, June 30th. I'm Mark Halperin with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, John McCain in Pennsylvania, a blue state he'd like to keep in play to try to burden Obama with a big Electoral College challenge. He's got press availability there. Watch to see what come to that. Obama in a red state, watch to see how he does in Missouri with another prepared speech. Obama giving a lot more semi- major prepared speeches than McCain these days. Watch to see how Obama does in that speech and how he gets coverage in Missouri. And then finally, in Chicago, the Democratic Leadership Council with their big annual event, lots of big names, speakers talking, and taking questions from reporters.

No single interest group on the left or the right or in the center that's really affecting this race very so much so far. Watch to see what kind of message the DLC sends on this weekday about what Obama and whether they believe he's the kind of centrist candidate who can win a general election. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today. You can get all the political news all the time round the clock right here on The Page. For now, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
