## Transcript

It's time for Brian Williams to print some new business cards. The former NBC Nightly News anchor is back, but in a different chair this time. He will join MSNBC September 22 as a live on air anchor. He isn't assigned to a specific show on the cable only channel, rather he'll work on various afternoon shows. Former president of CNN, Jonathan Klein told LA Times, this is tailor made for him. Being the ringmaster of aggressive news coverage is exactly what he's great at. Williams' return comes more than six months after he was suspended and later fired from the top job for misrepresenting facts of a reporting trip in the Middle East.

Looking back, it had to have been ego that made me. Think I had to be sharper, funnier, quicker than anybody else. The new gig comes with a pay cut. Although it is unclear by how much, Williams signed a five- year deal for $ 10 million right before the scandal broke.
