I think the best performance I've ever seen by an actor, on film, was, Paul Newman in The Verdict. I thought that was singularly the greatest, performance I've seen, by a really experienced, talented movie star. And it was really fun to see. It was. Full acceptance of a character actor along the way. I, I just loved everything about him in that movie. And, and I was always a fan of his but that too. That was the first time I was very aware of really good acting, I think. The funny thing about working in Hawaii is that it takes you a while if you're not from there to get into the rhythms of Hawaii.

You know, they're driving, on the freeway, they're driving 45 miles an hour and I'm pulling up behind them, what the hell's wrong with you, move! And they're like, take it easy, brother. So, it takes you a while to get into the rhythms of it, but it actually is very helpful As an actor to understand those sort of, that. Even when you watch the film, the film takes its time, it, all the way through. And and those rhythm are things that Alexander picked up by spending a lot of time in Hawaii. And I think that all the actors sort of found a very different rhythms than most films based on sort of just living there for a while.

A lot of times it's hard to figure out exactly how to play things when you're at a table doing a table reading. But when you get up and put on wardrobe, particularly if it's wardrobe that really sets the tone. The Hawaiian shirt will be nominated for best supporting actor this year. That sure. yeah, those shirts are something. You know, and, and, when you get there, there's a culture that takes those shirts very seriously. There's some really expensive, expensive versions of those shirts that I was given, Hawaiian shirts are fun.
