## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Monday, June 9th. I'm Mark Halperin in Gotham City with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, the economy, Obama and McKinnon-- their campaign's been very aggressive on that issue. Watch to see Obama's speech and how the two campaigns react to what Obama does and the fallout from there. Second, watch the economic news and watch how the campaigns react, not to their set pieces back and forth between each other, but to world events in the economy-- who's best able to get themselves with the new cycle, the way Pat Buchanan used to do so well and Bill Clinton's presidential candidates.

And then finally, watch the debate about debates or the debate about town halls, at least both campaigns have rejected an offer from Mayor Bloomberg and ABC News to appear in a particular town meeting setting. Watch to see how the negotiations on that front get off the schnide today. Those are your three things to watch for in politics. You can get all the political news all the time right here on The Page. For now in Gotham City, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
