[ MUSIC ] Ageism in Hollywood, like ageism in all aspects of our global life is simply a reflection of what's going on everywhere. It's our time to have wage equality once and for all, and equal rights For women in the United States of America. Beautiful script came to me. It's based on a true story. The woman at the time the story took place is younger than I am numerically, so that's a nice twist. And yet the men who were suggested are 15 to 20 years my senior. Why would I be cast Aside someone who's so much older than I am, when we're talking about a real life story. [ MUSIC ] There was a really fun sort of meme chart going around recently, that charted the age difference between Harrison Ford and his co- stars.

And he just naturally, as a human being, is getting younger. But the age of his co- stars either stays the same or gets younger. I think that patriarchy is a system in which both men and women participate. Patriarchy is not boys and men. And it is not something that only girls and women can fight and ultimately help evolve into something that's more nurturing and sustaining for everybody. And I think that the majority of depictions of rape are They are irresponsible, they are voyeuristic, and they perpetuate incredible exploitation. Do I need to ask a second time? I hate asking a second time. I would prefer to see the second rate that happens when the forensic team shows up and there are no women on it.

Or the girl or woman is debriefed multiple times because there is a shift change. That, I would prefer to see on television. Vision. Because it's infuriating and I believe that that can help prompt systemic change, which can start at the county level. [ MUSIC ] [ BLANK_AUDIO ]
