## Transcript

>> Number five, Little Women and Werewolves.

>> Number four, Star Wars on Blu- Ray.

>> Number three, Ebert hates video games.

>> Number two, The Losers.

>> Number one, iPhone four.

>> Welcome to the Techland show, I'm your co- host, Peter Ha.

>> I am the other co- host filling in for Lev Grossman, Allie Townsend, intern.

>> What have you got there?

>> Ah, so this is the forthcoming Little Women and Werewolves, the latest.

>> Oh shoot, another one.

>> The strange thing about this one though is that when Louisa May Alcott originally pitched her Little Women story, it was actually about werewolves.

>> Are you serious?

>> I'm very serious. There is actually a letter of rejection from her publisher who felt that it would be a terrible idea. I can little imagine there to be many women with the vigor and stamina necessary to survive the tale of Little Women and Werewolves. And this is actually from [ unk ] so--

>> That's really clever.

>> She was rejected, trying to write Little Women and Werewolves, and so she ended up just writing Little Women, and now over a hundred years later, we are finally getting around to Little Women and Werewolves.

>> The thing is that I really do want Star Wars on Blu- Ray, however, it's just kind of the question of which version we will get.

>> Oh, its gonna be the digitally remastered versions which are going to suck. The fake like CGI, Jabba, and by the way, Han shot first, not Greedo. I'm pointing at you George Lucas for changing that.

>> Does he really think that the CGI meddled versions are better?

>> I hope not. But then again, you take a look at the new Star Wars movie that came out, and they are pretty CGI heavy. And it looked like garbage. Roger Ebert, so this--

>> Ah Hah!

>> Man has been spouting off about video games the last couple of weeks.

>> And I was actually a little, a little afraid on our, on our Facebook page, one of the commenters, one of you guys, said let's kill him.

>> Well that's a little too much.

>> Yeah! For the remarks that he's been making for video game art. So tone it down.

>> So, I mean, the big deal is that he's gone on to say, for I think, for a number of years that video games are not art and that they never will be.

>> Right! It also kind of goes back to the [ unk ] of film art, you know? Are we calling Transformers 2 art now?

>> No. But Megan Fox is art.

>> So opening up this weekend is another movie based on a comic book.

>> Yeah, its pretty--

>> This is like the year of, like, comic book movies.

>> And not just comic books, they're like good comic book movies so far.

>> So The Losers opened this weekend and its actually based on the series that ran from 2003 to 2006. So the premise of The Losers is it's a group of soldiers, US soldiers that have more or less, been left for dead by the government. It's in a post World War II era. If you have an interest in watching a movie this weekend, you should definitely check out that which it's called and get a little back story of who, what, and who the Losers are.

>> Have you seen the film yet?

>> No. Steve has seen it, and he said it was really good.

>> So the big news this week in Tech has been the big reveal of the upcoming next generation iPhone. There is a lot of controversy going around. A ) because Because Gawker paid for the device, B ) They should have known that it was stolen. I mean there is no way an Apple employee is gonna do like, " Hey, by the way, I have the new iPhone. Here is-- I want five grand for it ." Anyway, so the new iPhone, the next generation one, the whole, just design of it is completely different than the last three that we've seen. I've been using it--

>> Its like bigger,

>> Its thinner.

>> Right? But thinner?

>> Thin with bulk. But it has like this weird boxy shape, the back of it tapered any more, it's like nobody knows what all the--

>> Like it's flat, right?

>> Yeah, it's flat. And it has a forward- facing camera for all of you people that really need to video chat all the time. Good luck [ unk ] on AT & T. And then apparently has a smaller screen, but its higher resolution.

>> And Apple is supposed to unveil fourth generation when?

>> You know, if you look at the last two years, it will be in June, so right around the development conference.

>> Okay.

>> The keyword is muskrat. Okay.
