They have the most hands- on deck of any other company in the world, the biggest HR headaches in the world, however you wanna see it. Here's Fortune's first ever list of the top ten largest public employers in the world. You'll likely recognize some companies like McDonald's, at number ten on the list with 440, 000, or number four Volkswagen, the German automaker employees nearly 575, 000 workers. But the biggest employer, perhaps the best known in the U. S.. Wal- Mart, with an astonishing 2. 2 million employees, each bringing in an average revenue of $ 216, 500 for the company. While that number certainly isn't the end all when trying to truly establish a company's success and profitability, you understand why the retail giant.

As workers have protested in recent years for higher wages, and better benefits. The most revenue pro worker though goes to Petro, China each of Petro China's more than half million workers makes the oil and gas giant $ 645, 000. Fortunes top 10 employers cover a variety of industry's and have headquarters in six different countries.
