## Transcript

Oh God. So, I decided I needed to get a handle on how many calories I burn on a daily basis, and I went with this program called " Bodybugg ." Basically, the way it works is you start with this arm band and the arm band has a whole bunch of sensors in it. It detects your surface body temperature, sweat. It has an [ unk ] so it also can tell you what kinds of motion you've been going through, and using all of that data comes up with a really accurate calorie count of how many calories you're burning at any given moment. Now, the new thing about this system is once all that data is recorded, I can upload the data to my Bodybugg account.

You pay a monthly fee here. It's a reasonable price on the amount of $ 15. 00 a month. So, Bodybugg tells you how many calories you've burned, but you also need to input by hand how many calories you've eaten. I always thought that the best invention of the world might be a nose- mounted camera that can look at everything that goes into your mouth and accurately record what's going in, but I think we're still a few years away from that. Okay. So, now that I had my daily caloric intake and burned down, I really wanted to get thin. I don't really-- I'm not a big believer in diet, especially not diet by itself.

I went to a company called " eNewLeaf ", and what they have is hundreds of assessment centers around the United States. I went to one in San Francisco called " Breakaway Performance ." They came up or rather their computer, the " eNewLeaf" computer, comes up with a customized daily workout plan. It's says " Here's how many minutes during you workout cycle you need to spend in each zone ." The data on the computer doesn't do you much good by itself, not when you're in the gym, and that's were a company called " Smheartlink ", and that's spelled S M H E A R T as in " Smheartlink" " Smheartlink ", comes in.

Of $ 150 at Amazon, you get this device. It creates a wireless bridge between your iPhone and a-- run over the mill heart belt. I used a garment heart belt that costs like $ 35. 00 also at Amazon, and it sends a radio signal which picks up your heart beat to your phone via the Smheartllink. So, Smheartlink provides free applications that you can download from the iPhone's application store, and it's got all of your workout data on it, and it tells you how many heart beats per minute you're pumping out, what zone you're in, what zone is coming out, and helps you manage the whole " eNewLeaf" exercise regimen right here on the phone.

It's a very very cool system, and it's super super efficient, and it's tailored to you. So, after a week of working out and watching what I ate, I weighed myself, and guess what, I lost a pound or almost a pound. So, I decided to celebrate, and there was only one way.
