But there was a culture of silence and it's set in taboo, that had been around the issue with, especially evidence by the reluctant's of people, to admit that it was happening. The denial by state authority's. That these kidnappings were taking place. And we, we decided that it was important to document the impact of the insurgency, of the entire conflict environment, on women and girls in northeast Nigeria. The women and girls that we spoke to represent, a fraction of. The victims of Boko Haram abductions. These women need justice for crimes that they have suffered. They need information about how to access the medical attention that they need.
