911, where's your emergency? He was standing in line when he fell over and as I come back, he just fell over in the beach. The caller was driving through this area of Twilight Beach and Country Club Road. She saw Chris Lane collapse just before three, Friday afternoon. As he ran it, come around the corner off of Twilight Beach, says he's been shot. He's turning blue, he said. Is he talking to you right now? No, he's just [ SOUND ] that's all he's doing. Three minutes into the 911 call, the dispatcher calls for an ambulance. We need an ambulance to start to Plato and Twilight Beach. We have a male that says he has been shot and is bleeding in the back.

He's not conscious. Is he still breathing? Barely. Barely. Chris Lane was fighting for his life on the side of the road. Strangers tried to perform CPR as you hear panic and worry in the caller's voice. I hear no sirens. I see no lights. Oh my gosh, how long is it gonna be? Ma'am, all I know is they're, they're coming. I can't make 'em go any faster, okay? I've got 'em on the way. Has he stopped breathing? Yes. Yes, they say he has. Finally, here's some. Finally, here's some police.
