## Transcript

I love the question about my character, could you tell us something about your character? Because I cannot. Everything I had to say about it happened already during shooting and I am In all seriousness convinced that the projection screen in a movie theater is not just in order to project the film from the projection booth, but it's for you to project yourself. That's really my conviction, and I completely refuse to interfere with that. So as absurd, as it might sound, I consider what I do getting out of the way. So I don't talk about it. Because, you know, then I said this and then somebody reads it.

Was I wrong, was he wrong? Is this all a misunderstanding? No, it can't be a misunderstanding. It's about what you understand. There was an instance where I thought after Quentin called cut that it was really good and really special and very interesting and that I had done something that I personally even didn't expect. I'm glad to say it's not in the movie. Every actor who plays theater can tell you that. That when you come off stage one evening and you say [ NOISE ] I nailed it. Tonight was the perfect, performance. I hit everything that I set out. And blah, blah, blah. Chances are at about 99 % that the audience was bored.

But the, cosmic justice. [ LAUGH ] To that story is that it works the other way around as well. When you go off and say that was the bottom of my career and I will not be able to ever show my face to my friends and colleagues again. Chances are that, unfortunately they are not 99 %, but you know, whatever, that people will come up to you and say that was a great night.
