The 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards were chocked full of jokes, emotional surprises and, of course, great performances. Here are the top moments of the night. George Strait kicked Sunday night's show off with a crowd favorite, All My Ex's Live in Texas. [ MUSIC ] And hosts Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton kept the fun going with a special guest, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Can you throw a pass to my buddy Luke here, man? Just throw him a pass. [ APPLAUSE ]. [ APPLAUSE ] Wait a minute. [ LAUGH ] And of course Tony just had to make a reference to the controversial Deflate Gate during the bit.

This isn't one of them, deflated balls is it? [ LAUGH ] Blake for the Dallas Cowboys, we have real balls. Us. And speaking of special guests, both Christina Aguilera and Nick Jonas crossed over from the pop culture world to perform duets with some of the biggest names in country. [ MUSIC ] Yet another special guest that got the crowd on their feet country legend Randy Travis made a surprise appearance at the rewards in nearly two years. After suffering a serious stroke. Ladies and gentlemen, the great Randy Travis. [ MUSIC ] But Randy wasn't the only one who got a heartfelt standing ovation. Taylor Swift's mother, Andrea, definitely got the tears flowing with this emotional speech about her talented daughter.

For many years I was her constant companion. And I witnessed a young girl with very few friends become a young woman with many, learning to stand up for herself and the things she believes in. [ APPLAUSE ] But there was one country star who shinned brighter than the rest at this year's ACMs. Miranda Lambert, the country crooner nabbed four big awards Sunday night, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and one of seven Milestone awards. I have no idea why I am up here receiving this with all these amazing other artists but. [ APPLAUSE ] I just want to say thank you so much for allowing me to live my dream.
