For your late night highlight, Jennifer Hudson's five- year- old son David is a huge fan of Michael Jackson. So much so she had to show Seth Meyers he's got the beat. [ MUSIC ] [ NOISE ] Nice moves. As MTV says, the little dude got some musical DNA from his mama. Hudson said in 2011, he loved to rock out when she wasn't looking. Guess he doesn't mind her looking and recording these days. David also told his mom that he loved the King of Pop more than her. Ouch. He thankfully realized his error and retracted. He realized he made me feel bad, so he's like, okay, Michael Jackson is my favorite dancer and you're my favorite singer.

Are you happy now momma? Thanks for clarifying, buddy. One interesting note, Hudson performed at Jackson's memorial while. Pregnant with David that could possibly explain his special link to the Moon Walker. But we can't let little David steal the whole show, his momma is as we said talented as well. She's got a new album out and tells billboard she has her sight set on playing Aretha Franklin in a movie some day calling it her dream role
