## Transcript

Bernard, thank you so much for joining us. Can you share a personal moment that you had with Mohamed Ali? Well, my personal moment I had with Mohamed Ali, I had a couple of them but I'm just going to mention one that I can really, really reflect on. I was the middle weight and I was Consider my title at that time was 15 defenses I might have done 20 and we shared the same faith so we gave each other greetings which is [ FOREIGN ] and I'll say [ FOREIGN ] back to him and he sat there watched with his daughter Laila Ali who is a very very good close supporter of me I might And you know, you start joking around, he's all putting his hands up and telling me I have to do this, I have to do that, and not verbally, but to his time and watching him He gave me a voice, and I mean that voice is that he gave me a voice that I could speak up for things that I believed I needed to speak up for.

And very few people had not only the courage to do that, but go on to, I guess [ INAUDIBLE ] for even risk their career, or whatever it is, and these people are not bad people to think that way, but Ali gave me that sense that if he done that [ INAUDIBLE ] And the 60s was kind of rough back then. In my time. And that's what I got personally. I know I answered the question wrong but I learned that personally and also what he did in the ring. So it's really two things his social life and also [ UNKNOWN ] life. Yeah, no not a wrong answer there at all Bernard. Really appreciate you saying that. As a fellow fighter What is most impressive about Ali's boxing career?

It was the deep as big [ INAUDIBLE ] as he is and as a heavyweight, and as elusive as he was as a heavyweight. You don't see that here today and when you look at I [ UNKNOWN ] before the draft situation and even after three years of him being back into boxing. If you look at the things and the way he either promoted it through his personality And in the ring the shuffle, the hand speed, the [ UNKNOWN ] that he had to sacrifice. Really sacrifice his body, his brain to be able to be victorious at the end. And that's the price he wanted to pay with no apologies. When I Cheer Ali and asked to reflect on that moment, those moments.

I have to mention what i just did that that's what makes not only a all- around fighter but a unique fighter because you knowe what [ INAUDIBLE ] Time of boxing for 28 years as a professional and I don't think I'll ever see it in my lifetime to have not only the personality but the physical attributes and the things that he did that you read in the press conferences as we promote our fights and the things that's said and the things that's done. To promote fight and sometimes they are serious things and sometimes they did [ UNKNOWN ] thing. Ali the mass of death. [ BLANK_AUDIO ]
