## Transcript

>> We wanted to single out for you five blogs that you may have never heard of before that you probably should be checking. One fun one to look through if you're a photographer, if you're not a photographer, if you're a novice photographer is Strobist. And it's sort of a DIY photo blog offering how to lessons on everything from lenses to lighting, showing you how to take what equipment you have and make the most of it. Second is Zenhabit which might be one of the few blogs out there that is trying to train you how to not use their blog as much. It's sort of a guide of how to unplug and unwind.

And, you know, in this digital age where we're constantly checking on our Blackberries and our instant messages, Zenhabit is the place to go to learn how to just chill out. Also on the list-- HiLobrow. The motto on the corner is middle brow is not the solution. I say it's sort of like sitting down every day to coffee with your smartest, most random friend. The goal of HiLobrow seems to be that each and every post is worth forwarding on to someone you know in your life, and that's why we love it. Also on our list-- Roger Ebert's Journal. He's probably one of the best- known film critics, but after he lost his ability to speak and eat in 2006, he's really taken to the web in a big, big way.

He's one of the best Twitter feeds out there, one of the most prolific Twitter feeds out there. But also, Roger Ebert's Journal, which is the weekly blog where he posts on any number of topics-- everything from his medical condition to movies to literature to quantum physics to evolution-- whatever's on his mind. Even his memories of what it was like back in the good old days of newspapers. What sets it apart is not just that it's some of the best pros you're gonna read on the net-- we think we should make a book out of his journal entries-- but also that it's one of the best conversations. At Roger Ebert's Journal, you will, without question, find the best comments on the web on any blog.

One of our favorite travel blogs that we've stumbled on recently is Everything Everywhere. It's a site that started sort of as a hobby by a guy from Wisconsin by the name of Gary Arndt. He sort of quit his job, and in 2007, decided he'd spend a year travelling the globe trying to basically go everywhere and see everything. It's really evolved into a remarkable chronicling of the journey of a lifetime-- everything from high- def travel photos to travel videos--

>> Today's episode is going to be about Fiji--

>> to just personal ruminations. And what really sets it apart is probably Gary's personality. You're following a guy you really admire in a really, just stunning journey.
