How men Can probably win the gold for their country, but still insist on raising a black gloved fist. How we can wear an I can't breathe t- shirt and still grieve for fallen police officers. By knowing this other story, we better Understand ourselves and each other. [ BLANK_AUDIO ] It binds us together. [ BLANK_AUDIO ] It reaffirms that all of us are America. The African- American history is not somehow separate from our larger American stories, it's not the under side of the American story, it is central to the American story.
