## Transcript

>> Sienna miller admits to some mistakes. In a new interview with Esquire UK, the 32- year- old actress called herself naïve, slamming her past behavior. " I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges. What was going on in my private life was not an easy thing to read about. People don't wanna see films with people they don't approve of in them ." Specifically, Miller was referencing her 2008 affair and Brothers and Sister star Balthazar Getty who was married with four kids at that time. Miller's career took a turn when the affair turned into a tabloid scandal. Miller told the magazine she felt like she had lost control, going so far as to say she was sick of herself so she quote-- " deliberately disappeared ." Miller took a break from Hollywood heading to Broadway to star in the play After Miss Julie.

Her ex- fiance Jude Law was also working in New York at that time and two rekindled their romance. Miller said she had to reconcile with Law. Their relationship had ended on bad terms with both reportedly having cheated during their engagement. Law with his children's nanny and Miller with her Layer Cake Daniel Craig. Miller and Law's rekindled romance didn't last long, but Miller said she is now good friends with the actor and his family and she now has a family of her own. She's currently engaged to actor Tom Sturridge. The couple welcomed a daughter, Marlowe, in 2012. Miller says becoming a mom has helped refocus her career.

>> You know, to go to work, it's gotta be something that you really, really care about and really love in order to justify spending time away from my family. You reevaluate where you want to be and, you know, what's more important.

>> Miller is slowly making her return to the big screen. Up next, she has the wrestling drama, Fox Catcher, costarring Channing Tatum and Steve Carell. It's set to be released sometime this year. For TIME, I'm Brice Sander.
