[ MUSIC ] Wherever I go, there you are. I will not be lectured about sexism and misoginy by this man. It's party time chumps. [ SOUND ] I'm Nick Carbone for Time and here are our five favorite viral videos of October. [ SOUND ] Bacon. This month we were bombarded by election ads and Gangnam parodies, but there were other important events that managed to break up the monotony, like the rumoured global bacon shortage. Do not panic. There is time if you act immediately. The harrowing story worried pork lovers across the world, but none was more scared than Ron Swanson, the Parks and Recreation character played by Nick Offerman.

The self professed bacon and eggs lover, rarely gets worked up about anything. What we would really feel is inner turmoil on this public service announcement. Procure as much bacon as humanly possible, and hide it in as many locations as you can. When it comes to bacon, be prepared. [ SOUND ] This month's presidential debates, also inspired a wave of serious reactions. But luckily, the wonderful folks at bad lip- reading are here to take the edge off. How do I do this? Dude, I don't have a jet ski. So how do they do it? By reading their lips. Sort of. [ MUSIC ] The debate would have been much more compelling if it were presented in musical form.

I love you two, okay? And I want you to turn and look at me. But the political commentary wasn't exclusive to just the United States. Australian prime minister Julia Golart, made headlines across the world this month with her takedown of Tony Abbot, the leader of the opposition. I will not be lectured about sexism and [ UNKNOWN ] by these men. I will not. The most powerful woman in Australia unleashed her furry on Abbott, in a 15 minute tirade in front of the entire Parliament. Their volatile exchange was a complex one, but Golard fired back with crystal clarity. Now looking at his watch, because apparently a woman has spoken too long.

I've had him yell at me to shut up in the past. No that's what we call a fiery speech. Another take down happened in a much smaller arena this month. A Wisconsin news anchor called out her bully in a televised news segment that went viral. When a local man took issue with her weight, she was driven to sound off when the viewer called her a bad role model. Surely you don't concider yourself a suitable example for this communities young people girls in particular. Obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make. She feared the man's words would spark even more bullying in the community, and took it upon herself to publicly shame him.

If you were at home, and you were talking about the fat news lady, guess what? Your children are probably going to go to school and call someone fat. It was an ideal start to national anti- bullying month, and a passionate lesson for any self- conscious person. The world turns and we turn with it. Clearly Brad Pitt didn't have the same self awareness in the ad we released for Channel. Pitt became the first male face of Channel's number five perfume line, with an ad that made very little sense. There you are, my luck, my fate. My forge. There was no surprise that it inspired a round of parody, including one by SNL Karen Kelham.

And in dreams, wake up and smile at reality. I'm sorry is, is there really no script. [ LAUGH ] Cuz I've been talking to myself for like two hours straight and I'm starting to sound insane. If you ask us he doesn't sound much less coherent than Brad Pitt. Channel Number Five, didn't understand a bah [ LAUGH ]
