## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] Saying no, no, no, no, no. [ MUSIC ] I'm Nick Carbone for Time, and these are our top five viral videos of September. In a month dominated by news out of Syria, one buzzword rose above the rest. Twerking. But it has nothing to do with the Middle East and everything to do with Miley Cyrus. Suddenly it seems like everyone was sharing their posterior shaking moves. And then a video emerges, showing the horrific consequences of twerking. [ NOISE ] A girl actually catches on fire while trying the dance. [ NOISE ] After falling on a table full of candles. It caused outrage and laughter across the Web.

[ INAUDIBLE ] dangerous. This is a major twerking [ INAUDIBLE ]. Until it was outed as an elaborate prank. Staged by late night host Jimmy Kimmel. [ SOUND ] Thanks Jimmy Kimmel. [ NOISE ] All part of the job ma'am. Torque has even been added to the dictionary now, but there was one word we couldn't figure out for this month? [ MUSIC ] The hilarious and confounding video from two Norweighn comedians found us asking that exact question as they delved into a dark, scary world of humans dressed like animals. The catchy tune took us through all the animal But even three years old now. Except for that elusive fox [ MUSIC ] What does the fox say?

[ MUSIC ] They never did figure that out. And the low budget animal disguises weren't even the creepiest costumes of the month. That's reserved for Uncle Sam, image if this clown like character were at your next doctor visit. That's exactly the point of the ad, meant to scare people away from signing up for Obamacare. Really, it just managed to make us scared of ever going to the doctor's office again. That maniacal icon of Americana will haunt your next visit, if it's not already haunting your dreams. And if we wanted to run far away from the doctor, we certainly wouldn't be able to move as fast as this guy.

An infamous challenge sees drivers try to make the fastest lap around Manhattan through its notoriously congested and slow highways. In late August, that record was broken. One man did the full New York City loop in just 24 minutes. [ MUSIC ] The 26 mile race means he was zooming above the speed limit nearly the entire time. Sadly for the driver, the video that attracted so much attention also caught the eye of police. Who arrested him for speeding a week later. Another race against the clock saw Sports castor Adam Lefkoe try to squeeze 46 hip hop references into his five minute broad cast. [ UNKNOWN ] at the rival is says don't sweat the technique.

Now [ UNKNOWN ]. The Kentucky anchor actually makes us want to sit through his entire report. Even if you know nothing about the sports team. You [ UNKNOWN ] they have 99 problems But Hatcher is not one. From Tupac, to DMX. [ CROSSTALK ] Alabama has stopped, dropped, and opened up shop [ CROSSTALK ]. He tears through decades of rap history, while still delivering the news. And its just one of many he's done. Wrestling and Seinfeld references are two of his other lauded performances. La- di, Da- di. We got Bobby. But after last nights loss to South Alabama, parents just don't understand. Brandon [ INAUDIBLE ].

For Time, I'm Nick Carbone.
