Right now, Kentucky State Police is still ongoing in the investigation of the shooting that took place here in Letcher County earlier in this date. At this time. We can't confirm that the district judge was shot and unfortunately has passed away. So as of right now, that's the new information that we have. Again, this is still an isolated incident. We do have an arrest that was made. Hopefully to have that information for you guys as we move forward. As of right now, that's all I have. But it is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public right now. Are you able to share names at this point?

At this time, let us know a name that we can share as we move forward and get a little more information. Hopefully, we can go ahead and relay that to you guys. Are you able to share exactly what time it happened in the courthouse it happened? It did take place inside the courthouse as far as the definitive time. I don't have that at hand already. That is something that I can definitely get you later on. Can you talk a little about the community response to what's happened here today? Anytime a situation like this takes place, especially in a small town, it shakes the very foundation of what the town is, and this is no different.

We're just hoping that it's a bad situation and we can resolve it as quickly as possible and start that process forward. All right at this time, you know, we're conducting the investigation. We're doing the best job that we can. You, our hearts go out to everybody that was involved and affected by this. Share about the Mo. As far as Mom sill a very early stages of this investigation, and that's questions that we still have at this time that we're still trying to figure out. So hopefully as the days move forward, that's information and we'll be able to find out as well. There is several witnesses which adds to the complexity of the investigation, which means, detective will have to interview each and every witness that was present.
