## Transcript

You just knew once one of them put their neck out there, broke that psychological $ 100 barrier, the rest would follow. Only a few days after Disney announced a one day admission to Walk Disney World would jump from $ 99 to $ 105. The competition did the same. Universal Orlando Resorts website early Thursday showed a one day admission for adults jumped by six dollars to 102 dollars. The news was generally received as an inevitability after Disney's price bump as the Orlando area parks generally follow each other once one increases the cost of admission. Though Sea World and Busch Garden's prices were unchanged as of Thursday morning.

And frankly, Universal Orlando probably knows it can charge $ 100 plus and then some. The world you've been waiting for is here. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has become a juggernaut attraction for ownership over the last. Last four years only spurred further by the new Diagon Alley section that opened this summer to enormous and near hysterical fans. Both Universal's parent company Comcast and Disney reported fourth quarter performances much better than Wall Street projected. And on Universal side, theme park revenue increased 4 % to nearly half a billion dollars for the quarter. If you wanna avoid the triple digit pass price to Universal Orlando, the park of course recommends you buy passes for multiple days to get more bang for your buck.

There's also an entire industry of bloggers and park insiders offering advice.
