## Transcript

That? [ NOISE ] You there? Okay, so I have three questions. They're equally important to me. Number one. An issue that I'm concerned about is common sense gun control. I was shocked that you co- sponsored a bill to allow domestic [ UNKNOWN ] Defenders to continue to own a gun. The amount of studies that show [ UNKNOWN ] continue to use those weapons against [ UNKNOWN ] Why on Earth would you want somebody who [ UNKNOWN ] to have access to a gun? You also vote to repeal background checks for private gun sales, you cosponsored a bill to That would allow people to carry a concealed firearm without a permit?

Do you know that some people injured in the Las Vegas shooting who didn't have health insurance are having to rely on go fund me pages because they can't pay for their medical bills? There's something wrong in our country where republicans believe it's a right to own a gun, but a privilege to have healthcare. None of that [ INAUDIBLE ] Follow up to that one, if you have common sense gun control laws in place, what Las Vegas shooter would not have access to bump stocks and large capacity magazines which allow a shooter to unleash up to 100 bullets before reloading. Because we don't have common sense gun control He was able to kill 58 people.

Why won't you support common sense gun laws? Research also shows more guns does not make a place safer. If you are truly representing the people of Colorado, here's what the polls show. 95 % of voters agree that people with serious mental health Problems should be prevented from owning a gun. 80 % of voters agree that judges should be able to order someone who is convicted of domestic violence or given a restraining order to surrender their guns to the court. [ BLANK_AUDIO ] 80 % of voters agree that all private gun sales should go through a licensed dealer and be subject to a. [ UNKNOWN ] 65 % of voters agree that guns should be banned [ UNKNOWN ] campuses.

61 % of voters agree that the sale or possession of semi- automatic guns and assault rifles should be banned. 61 % of voters [ UNKNOWN ] high capacity ammunition clips which allows guns to shoot more than 6- 10 bullets before loading should be banned. It is a fact that more guns equal more deaths as studies have found. That is a really [ INAUDIBLE ] question and I have no idea that you had put that much [ INAUDIBLE ] great question. I am very aware of those statistics and I have a conceal carry permit. I shoot and always [ UNKNOWN ] shoot and when you talk about the Las Vegas shooting, it was a horrible tragedy.

That was a gun free zone. Did you know that? Did you know the Aurora shooter was a gun free zone? [ BLANK_AUDIO ] It didn't stop it, did it? They went and looked for those [ UNKNOWN ]. We need crime control and it has been shown that the more guns A society has, the less crime or murders that they are committing. Look at Chicago. Chicago's a gun free zone. Aren't they? But they have more crime and more murders. And anywhere else in the United States. Look at Detroit. Same thing. When I am out, okay, I heard a very interesting speech. [ INAUDIBLE ] today, on what we are talking about. And when we look at the shooter, there is something that we call predator.

He is a predator, here the shooters are and then the prey are us.
