So the Money Best in Travel list is really unlike any other best of travel guide you'll find out there, because we take into account both the quality of the destination and the value for what you get for your money. So we're finding places where you won't break your budget, but you can stay in really nice places eating extremely well. We have hundreds and hundreds literally of data points that we've collected from travel outlets, experts in various industries, independent analysts and a lot of crowd sourced reviews that we find in places like Trip Advisor. We've pulled them all together, cross- referenced them, tried to correct for where a place was really expensive but really nice and really cheap but not so nice.

The idea was to find the sweet spot between all of that where you would actually appreciate what your money could get you and feel like you were splurging on yourself at the same time. [ MUSIC ]
