I hope he slips in there with it. >> He's left similar rambling in his statements on our voicemail at the office, so-- >> I had the idea of actually trying to get them together for a civil conversation, and the premise was we would all go to the national zoo and talk about what should be done about taxation in this country and how to deal with the debt and deficit problem. >> I wanted to do this just to let people know that you can seriously disagree with people and still have a civil relationship without trying to choke him although there's still some move-- oh, no. I wouldn't do that. It's a beautiful day at the zoo. >> I think it's very important for Republicans to talk to Republicans with whom they have some disagreements because you wanna find out what other people are thinking and will always find some areas of agreement, surprise you. >> I was there to prod them with questions now and then and keep the conversation going, but they basically took in the orangutans all by themselves. >> Oh, we saw lions, we saw tigers. It was like Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. It was great. >> I saw something there I thought I'd like to feed. Grover threw a nut with that giant Komodo. I said Grover you'd look good inside there. He said-- he laughed. >> These are 2 men who actually are very similar. They disagree hugely on the issues but deep down they're very similar people and they actually have tremendous amount of respect for each other. >> He's not an enemy. He's an adversary. There's a hell of a lot of difference. >> A very successful politician.
