## Transcript

Miranda Lambert gets butterflies in her stomach over a duet with Carey Underwood. Lambert asked Underwood to sing one of the songs in her upcoming album Platinum, set for release in early June. Lambert admits she was anxious reaching out to the former American Idol winner. Lambert told PEOPLE Country, it took me forever to write the email to ask her, like I was writing to someone I had a crush on and you don't want to mess it up. And sometimes the wait is the hardest part. It took Underwood a week to get back which only added to Lambert's nerves. But, Underwood finally agreed saying it's awesome, let's do it.

The two will duet on the song, Something Bad and many speculate it'll also be released as a single with two huge names attached to it. Lambert and Underwood are both nominated for female vocalist of the year in the ACM Awards airing April 6th on CBS, but they insist, there's no competition between these two. Thanks for watching.
