## Transcript

[ BLANK_AUDIO ] I'm not going to get into the specifics of what he said at this point. He was ready and willing to give up. We had helicopters, aircraft, Four- wheeler. ATVs. We had massive amounts of police presence in that area that kept him contained. He could move too much, and I think he was just plum worn out from being out in the elements. The particular property that he was in, I'm not sure how well you knew that he was an outdoorsman. He was a hunter. Liked to spend a lot of time in the woods. Lived on MREs from time to time. Don't know that he had any MREs with him at this thing, but he was the kind of guy that could spend some time in the woods.

We were waiting for the autopsy report, coroner's report, and BCI's investigation all to come together to determine the time of death of each individual. Were they spread out through the day? That's certainly possible, but we can't speculate yet. As the investigation of these martyrs continue, additional charges could be brought against Lawson. It makes you feel good that our efforts, our very strong efforts were successful. I know that the public were a little afraid, and rightly so, you know you've got a guy that murdered Possibly murdered three people that was running loose on the streets. So he was a danger to the community.

So the applause makes you feel good that you were able to accomplish your task.
