## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] Hi, I'm Claire Suddath and this is what's on Pop Charts this week. Here's a question for you. If Ryan Gosling's new movie Drive is a gritty crime tale about a getaway car driver, why does the movie use pink scripted fonts on its posters and in its titling sequences? Either Hollywood is blatantly trying to market to women. Right, because we just like anything that's pink. [ NOISE ] Or someone has a serious 1980s fetish. Speaking of the 1980s, do you love the 1989 film, Back to the Future 2? Well if so then you're in luck, because Nike is auctioning off 1, 500 pairs of the Air Mag shoes that Marty McFly wears in the film, the one where he travels to 2015.

Proceeds go to Michael J Fox's Parkinson Research Foundation. That's pretty cool, now all we need are hoverboards. And speaking more of the 1980s. I don't even know what's going on here. Top Gun is being re- released in 3D. Right. Because that's necessary. Does Yoko Ono follow you on Twitter? No? Are you sure? Because she follows 694, 000 people, more than President Obama does. Making her the site's friendliest user. I guess she really does like all that peace and love stuff. So here are three things that you do not have to worry about this week. You don't have to worry about sexist clothing, because Forever 21 has agreed to pull its girls' t- shirt that read, Allergic to Algebra.

You don't have to worry about Brian Williams, because despite the kind of terrible name of his new show, Rock Center with Brian Williams. [ SOUND ] We think that it's gonna do just fine. And number three, you don't have to worry about Tyler Perry's career. Because according to Forbes Magazine he was just named the highest paid man in show business. That's it, that's all we've got of you on Pop Charts this week. I'll just leave you with this footage of Boo, the world's cutest dog, who came to Time's offices the other day. And we got absolutely no work done. [ CROSSTALK ]. [ NOISE ]. [ SOUND ]
