I knew that I wanted to be a teacher when I was 16 years old and I was in my English class and my teacher helped me solve these really large, overarching problems and questions. I had in my in my mind and in my life and she shared with me all of these books. And they just opened my mind and such an amazing way that I would never have been able to find if I had just been left to my own devices. I love working with my student and I was terrified to start to do it but it was I just fell in love, you know, that's the wonderful thing about teaching is it, you know, once you get to that state of equilibrium, within your classroom is just so full of love.

And you know, that's what I experienced with, my elementary students. I do all of this work for them because out of my love for them really. So this was not my path, right? I was not listening. I did not go to school to become a teacher. I actually graduated with a computer science degree. And so I I was behind a cubicle and my little heart away creating software for the oil and gas industry. So, I had an opportunity to teach computer science, computer programming at the high school level. So I took a leave of absence and did it first and I absolutely loved it. I took a pay cut but to me it was all about how I felt waking up every morning to impact students, who had no Big O Smiles on their face.

I think the greatest thing that I love about teaching is the AHA moments, the spark that I seen the eyes of the scholars. What if I brought in thousands of friends, I have on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin, and start inviting them, to do these 20-minute video called with my students and they were all be with so much, enthusiasm waiting with a map back then, or north or south of the Equator. Do you have an ocean next to your country? What kind of food do they eat in your country? What's the major religion? What type of gas do you have in your country and lead to the problem? Solving critical thinking of solving the location of where this person is, from what I have truly enjoyed through.

That experience that initial expense that Drew me to TJ. Was that spark To see that spark in the eye of a child who gave up in a costume to boring. This is not fun schools. Not for me. I'm going to drop out of school. So that's the spot that drives me every day that keeps you in and retains me into this profession.
