## Transcript

Feels great. It feels beautiful to be here. It's an incredible thing that we get to tell stories on this level with this amount of eyes on it. And that the Broadway community is thriving so much. It's very heartening to know that people still want to see live theater. Because actually I think it's the most profound transmission of soul you can get in terms of In terms of art. So I feel very very grateful that this exists. I don't think you wanna tell a story unless it's gonna change people. Or unless it has the potential to change people, and move people. And wake people up to their lives, to themselves, and to the lives they're living, or to change people.

So the social message is everything. Art, the theater has to be political. Otherwise, what are we doing? We have to be holding a mirror up to times we're in. Otherwise, we're wasting everyone's time. So this play resonates very, very deeply right now. This is a really, really deeply important issue and I think the plays absolutely touches upon it cuz it presents the culture. Represents this culture of separation, this culture of loneliness and isolation, and disconnection, and a value system that is not serving the individual soul of the human being. The truth that we all belong. The truth that we all are profound, enough.

That we all matter. And then we are all valid individuals. [ BLANK_AUDIO ] And also it speaks to the need of community, and in the outpouring of grief from these recent suicides in the public eye has been remarkable. And the majority of people I think they're waking up, to the fact that people are necessarily gonna reach out themselves, we have to keep reaching out to each other to check in and make sure that we are all okay, that's what community is. Anyway the place speaks to it, but I will let the place speak to itself.
