All right. So, we're gonna talk about the culture. We're gonna talk about the [ BLEEP ] that makes it fun. We are our dad's kids, right? And most of our dads and uncles were that age, right? Attach yourself to them. There's all these different things that were introduced, things like when we're out there in the bush, you know. Oh, did you get that ****? You know, oh, yeah, I zapped him. And so zapped is killed. The **** are Vietnamese. Right on, of course, outta sight sight, far out, groovy. Blood, that would be Darrensberg, 'kay? I for, personally fall under the Peckerwood category. [ LAUGH ] Which is a white man, also Sylvester.

Tee tee means very little, right? You've seen that in Full Metal Jacket. Greased is killed. Hump is carry a pack. Klick is a kilometer, " Nape" is Napalm, or a Napalm strike. " Hey, they got nape coming in here ". The culture: drugs, rock and roll, and I'm talking hard rock and roll, anti establishment, the Hippie culture ,. Which ties in to the drugs and the rock and roll. Self expression. It was like the flood gates opened and you had Haight Ashbury and you had Woodstock and you had all these things. Most of them not good. The hippy culture, it went to Vietnam. The users went to Vietnam and, because the war was seen as unjust to a lot of people, morale suffered big time.

Guys wore their hair long, guys smoked doobie. There was a lot of combat refusals. Entire platoons and companies were, well, entire platoons were wiped out because they had a pot party and nobody was on LPOP. I mean, that, that should happen in Vietnam. With that being said, there were still a lot of good things still going on at that time. The peace and love movement wasn't that bad. When Vietnam started in 1965, it was flat tops and white T- shirts. By the end of it, it was Matt Kinney. Side burns and long hair.
