He's a little cat who has already overcome lots of obstacles when he came to the animals shelter just a week ago, he weighed just over a pound. He was living on the street, fleas had sucked so much blood out of him, he had anemia that had caused him to have a heart murmur. [ CROSSTALK ] And if that wasn't enough, He's also been the victim of some sort of a trauma that has left him without one of his eyes. If you see a homeless kitten, pick it up, take it into the shelter, take it into the vet, anything. Just somewhere. Don't, don't just leave them. They can, they can survive and thrive and have somebody to love them. Blazer Shaffer is a Foster caregiver from Multnomah County animal control, who took Sir Stuffington, the one- eyed cat, and his two brothers in. She says Sir Stuffington is a cat with a great desire to live. A fighter, she says. He's also got a Facebook page, Sir Stuffington the one- eyed cat. Now has more than 14000 Facebook friends after just five days online. Everybody has beauty, it's just how you choose to see it. He's a great, great save and he's a great ambassador for getting the message out that shelters do save lives. Fosters do make a difference. And everybody here, every employee, every volunteer, every foster, that's what we do. That's what we're about is saving lives. Sir Stuffington and his litter mates. Are well on their way to recovery now. He is a one eyed cat who survived barely with his brothers on the streets.
