## Transcript

About an hour ago, there was reports of a large explosion over here at the intersection of Coors and Central behind the shopping area that you see here. We have one deceased on the scene. We're trying to figure out what happened here. Here, we have a large perimeter set up. This area is closed out of this time for Public Safety. Everybody initially was to shelter in place in the businesses. We moved everybody out for their safety. So now our VOD getting our bomb squad is over here doing an investigation. This area will be closed down for some time. I do not know the nature of that explosion how it happened.

That's why we're doing the investigation so. Very important that people stay out of this area, of course, in central, especially behind the shopping center here, all the way to the church to the west. So we'll have a large presence for the rest of the day. We'll have more information as it's made available but our EOD, our bomb squad, is on scene conducting an investigation.
